Parish Family Advisory Council
Nominations Due by June 26
As Fr. Oakland explained in his Pastor's Notes on May 11 and 18 , the PFAC will consist of 3-4 parishioners from each of our three parishes, individuals who are practicing Catholics in good standing with the Church, who attend Mass each week and are active members of their parish community, who have exhibited an ability to listen to others and work collaboratively, and who will seek the good of the entire parish family. This group will play a key role in connecting with each of the parishes and helping Fr. Oakland discern our coming together as one new parish. To ensure that the PFAC is representative and effective, parishioners are invited to nominate individuals whom they believe meet these criteria and would be strong contributors. You may also self-nominate if you feel called to serve in this capacity. Nominees will be prayerfully considered based on their ability to represent their parish and contribute to the shared mission of our family.Nominations can be submitted HERE.
Peters Pence Collection
Weekend of June 29
Support the works of the Holy Gather through the Peter’s Pence Collection. Starting with the first disciples of Jesus and his Apostles and continuing today, Christians have given of their resources to support the Church’s mission of preaching the Gospel and providing for the needs of the poor. As the Church has grown and spread across the world, Christians have long expressed their unity with the Holy Father and their commitment to his mission of mercy through an annual contribution called Peter’s Pence. Today, Catholics who contribute to the Peter’s Pence Collection continue this legacy of church unity and care for the poor. To learn more about Peter's Pence, click HERE.
